To End All Schitt Shows

Are you ready to take a trip up Schitt’s Creek without a paddle? Good. Because so are we. Please save the date for March 21st and celebrate our amazing tattoo artist Cari Fox’s birthday. We are pulling out all the stops to revel in her special day with a Shitt’s Creek-themed party and art show. Doors will open at 6 PM, and the festivities will continue until 10 PM.

During the birthday celebration, talented local artists will showcase their love for the popular comedy by creating original works of art. For those who are unfamiliar with the show “Schitt’s Creek,” the series follows the trials and tribulations of the formerly wealthy Rose family. Down on their luck, they’re forced to relocate to Schitt’s Creek, a small town they once purchased as a joke. Now living in two adjoining motel rooms, the couple, along with their adult children, must adjust to a life without money, while living with each other.

Based on the binge-worthy show, we will have themed foods, such as the infamous cinnamon rolls (which got us an extra star on our Yahoo rating). We’ll even be hosting Mariah Karaoke – so be sure to warm up your vocal cords and channel your inner diva upon arrival. The evening calls for guests to don their best bespoke suits or favorite sweaters. It’s the perfect opportunity to unwind, let loose, and have some fun.

As always, this will be an LGBTQ-friendly event. Everyone is welcome as long as they show up with a positive attitude and an open mind. If you don’t know who Cari is, she is a visual artist, songwriter, and badass tattoo artist. She began her career as a tattooist in 2005 and continues to create mind-blowing pieces for her clients. Style-wise, Cari draws inspiration from the neo-traditional, new school, and traditional tattoo styles with a sarcastic, edgy twist.

This birthday party for Cari is going to be hosted by Wolf and Shadow Tattoo Collective [fka Diego Tattoo Gallery] and Stay Flossy San Diego. The night will have a Schitt ton of dancing, singing, artwork, and merriment. Presents are not necessary, but obviously more than welcome. So, if you’re ready to experience a complete Schitt Show on March 21st, swing by the shop at 3434 University Ave. Suite A, in San Diego.
